My Recommendation: This page turner is perfect for anyone (13+) who like the most unusual paring of love.

⚠this book contains topics including suicide and mental illness

All The Bright Places is a book that is written in multiple points of view. One view being Theodore Finch's, an anti-social, awkward yet charming  high school student who, everyday, come up with a way to kill himself and then, comes up with 10 reasons not to. The other point of view is from Violet, a cheerleader, popular girl. who's older sister died in a car crash just months before, and she blames herself for the accident. These two polar opposites meet atop a bell tower where Violet was completing to jump or not until Finch talks her down. From that point on, there relationship booms full speed ahead.
Honest Review
!! Spoilers Ahead !!
Let me just start by saying I really enjoyed this book... this is up to page 335 when the bomb is dropped. Finch, one of the main characters commits suicide. While reading this book, there was always a though in the back of my head saying What if Finch commits suicide. I know he has been struggling with mental illnesses for a while and so its possible. But NO how could Jennifer do that to us faithful readers. She would not brutally kill of Finch. No way. Never" Boy was I wrong. I'd say I cried for about 30 minutes. I would have probably given this book a 5/5 stars if Finch did not die but he did so... Besides that little speed bump this book still makes it onto my top 10 favorites because of the beautifully written characters, dialogue and over all premise of the story. It is very unique and I like how Violet and Finch both bring the best out in each other and help each other tear down walls they have created in their lives. They also do a lot of wandering which is fun to read about.
