Don't Care What People Think
Happy New Year!
Hello guys and happy 2017! With a new year comes new reading goals and books! But I'm taking a step back and diving into the classics. The two books I am reading this month there very different. The first one is The Little Prince. Yeah, I know... It's a little kids book but I feel like its something really worth my time. Ever since watching the movie on Netflix I fell in love with the story and plot. I just knew it was a book I had to read.

Onto the next book I'm reading this month. The book is The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I actually found this book through @seelieknight on Instagram. I heard her raving about the books and other people in the comments also saying how much they loved the book and the characters. I did a little research on the book, and found that a lot of people HATED this book. I was so surprised to find out that so many people could hate a book that some many loved so much.

But I didn't let this stop me from reading the book. I went to Barnes and Nobles that night and started reading the prologue. It was absolutely amazing. I was intrigued immediately but the plot and characters. Due to the book being $17 (for a paper back!!) I didn't but right then and decided to check out my local library. They didn't have it so I then had to go to another library and then I finally had the book in my hands. All of this happened yesterday...
Anyways this leads back into what I was saying before with The Little Prince. Don't be fooled by what other people are saying about a book you really want to read. If its something you really want to read just go for it!!
So now that I'm done with my ramblings, tell me in the comments what books you've been weary about reading but ended up loving! I think mine is going to be The Secret History! Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you all in my next post.
