Judging Books by Their Cover

We are all told to " Never Judge Books By a Cover" but when it really comes to it in a book store, if you see a pretty book cover, you are going tot want to get the book! For example, today in Barns And Nobles I was looking at some Classics and they had some amazingly beautiful covers, so i just had to get one. (I ended up getting The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes). I also saw Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and was blown away by how amazing the cover was, I mean I spine was gorgeous!

Some of the Best-Selling YA books have really weird or awkward covers like City of Bones  by Cassandra Clare. I mean, the cover is of a shirtless guy! In school, I was reading this book and I constantly had my hand over the cover so people would ask me about it! Some people would never pick up the book because the cover was weird and then they'd be missing out on a amazing series. But luckily for us, they came out with an alternative cover for the movie!

I saw this book called A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall, and just had to get it because the cover was adorable! There are books, coffee, and Chinese take out on the cover... How could I not get it!

I'm not saying I don't ever judge books by there cover, because I do. I have to say though I almost didn't up Cinder because I thought the cover was a little to robot-y for me. But I'm super glad I did because I really love the series! The whole android thing kinda freaked me out because I don't normally read things like that but I ended up really liking it.

I would have never picked up We we Liars if it wasn't the booksplosions book of the month. But, I'm really glad it was because that book was amazing! This is an example of the cover not doing the book justice. The scene on the cover is a very small part of the book which may be misleading to some.

Throughout the years I've learned to not judge books by there cover and just read the back of it before I decide if I'm going to by it or not. I hope I've inspired you to do the same- Happy reading!
